- since you mention the future, go for the more future proof of those 2, which is the RTX one.

Yes for Ray Tracing is not leaving anytime soon as AMD just entered the fray. Technology like Time does not wait for no one. "Goldmoldar;c-17811732" wrote:

Ray Tracing is a bonus, but my main attraction to RTX cards is their DLSS features, who knows maybe they will implement it, and also Ray Tracing to Sims 4 sometime in the future.- Lonewolf1044Seasoned Spectator

Yes, as that is another feature RTX cards possess. - Gemmie12New Spectatorthe GeForce GTX 1050 that came with my laptop is pretty decent, and I can run Sims 4 on ultra uncompressed just fine. So pretty much this and newer is what you'll be aiming for.

Thank you @BookBear :) they're both nvidia though... i know the second one is way better than the first one... but what i don't know is if the first one is enough to have me playing in ultra with all dlc and more to come :)
I hope someone can help me with this last doubt i have. I would love to have my new laptop next week :)- @CAPTAIN_NXR7 i think you know a lot about graphics... i hope you don't mind if i ask you directly...

I was playing in Ultra on a GTX 1060 previously and it was great. I'm on the 1660 now and the new laptop has a much improved display all of which has created a nicer looking sims experience.
I had the same question when I was getting the Omen and my takeaway was the 20 series was base line VR Gaming and wouldn't have really applied to what I do which is older games like Sims 4, GTA Online, COD, etc.
@Kerrigan i'm also considering an omen. This one: OMEN HP 15-en0011np"Chicklet453681;c-17810225" wrote:
I have 16gb of memory and also have the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 TI ... I play on ultra without lag, every pack (except Batuu), a ton of CC sometimes (Like 20GB-30GB) and about 150 mods, it runs beautifully.
I don't play many other games so I can't tell you if that would be enough for a graphically intensive game.
Oh i only play sims 4... thank you for your imput. I'm decided on the nvidia geforce 1650 ti :)
