Best Lots For Custom Apartments

I'm actually hoping that the new Apartment/Duplex Lot will be possible for my Selvadorada & Granite Falls Worlds. <3 B) :p ;)
But, that's probably wishful thinking. :'(

I have also picked out lots in almost every world where to build an apartment (16-23) and I have even started some. Plus I have even started some of the projects!

Honestly, any lot with enough space would be perfect to build apartments on, but in the end, that's all up to you on where you want to place them since I can't make that decision for you. Follow your instincts and go on from there. ?

Great thread. I do so like to see what others are planning. Gives me ideas and inspiration.

In my Schemes and Dreams story I'm thinking of turning all of the Spice District and Uptown in San Myshuno into multi-sim apartments and making the Arts and Fashion Districts into entertainment only. I'm thinking of making Anchorpoint Wharf in San Sequoia into a mix of apartments and entertainment. In S&D San Myshuno and San Sequoia, along with Oasis Springs are suburbs of Del Sol Valley. I use weather cheats to give all four worlds year-round warm weather. In Tartosan Sun I don't have any plans just yet.

I live in an apartment IRL and I love it and that love carries over into The Sims. I'm so happy we can finally take apartment living beyond the claustrophobic limits of San Myshuno and Evergreen Harbor! I haven't heard or seen if the new EP finally allows us to fully customize the exteriors of the existing apartments. If it does it's a dream come true.

Glimmerbrook: I am preparing one of the smaller lots to house 3 or 4 spellcaster households. I always wished this world would have a few more lots to house more families. I have chosen this lot of the 3 small ones (20x30) because it has the long 30 side at the front.

San Seqouia:
This lot is very hard to use because of it's shape and the roads at the front of the back. Perfect for some row houses.

Oasis Springs:
I have one batuu neighbourhood in this world. It has a restaurant, a park, a rental and a home. I think it deserves another family living there. I have yet to decide which lot. I might go for the big one and create or download a smaller restaurant for the other lots.

Moonwood Mill:
By default the members of one pack live inthe world and the members of the other pack don't have a house. I am going to move them all into one lot. Don't know if they will like it. But the world is too small to sacrifice two lots to premades so they have to share.

Britechester:
The central neighbourhood has one library lot surrounded by nice buildings. It gives the perfect feeling of an old city with history. I have debated several times what to do with this lot and now I finally have the answer: apartments.

These obviously aren't all the suitable lots but those are the ones I am going to build. I have no plans or needs on making multi family lots in every world.

@EgonVM nice idea to show them on maps. Just the lot names is a bit confusing to me. I can never remember the lot names.

What about Sulani?

For Sulani, I am thinking of making apartments in the shipwreck lot. I have been meaning for a long time to build a sort of village there and move all or most of the premades. I'll keep the shipwreck and build little huts around it.

To me this is great for small worlds, like Forgotten Hollow, Glimmerbrook, maybe Tartosa....

The only one I started building is Forgotten Hollow on one of the 30×30 lots.
