Better at building community or residential?

I am quite torn about this, I really enjoy building both and I switch a lot between them. I always like to build different family homes and decorate them for the sims I create, because I can bring their life and personality in through the little details. Last week I did a tiny house in Willow Creek for my sim Ruby and her bullterier and it was a lot of fun to fit all of the objects into small house and still make it pretty and usable. Then I created a big, fancy house for my doctor and his family where I could use all of the fancy, expensive objects I rarely use as my majority of my sims are poor XD

But then I also really love renovating/creating community lots as I have a lot of ideas and it just doesn't take as long as buidling houses. I love making my lots fit the world and also make sim owned places. In Willow creek so far I built: flower & book shop owned by sisters from Oasis spring and a cozy suburban café, then I have a grocery shop (that I still need to finish decorating) and I redid the park, so there was more to do for every age group.

In San Myshuno I renovated & recreated a spa & yoga place, gym, art gallery and made three bars: a gothy vampire dance club, a pub and a nightclub. I still have to renovate the park, I wanting for an idea of what I want that park to be like.
And the last world where I created a lot of community lots is Sulani: I have a national park, two beaches (one is a more historical place for Sulani Sims and the other one is a recreational one, Sulani bar and fish & produce shop owned by one of my Sulani family. I will also create a rental lot restaurant and a spa there and my Sulani should be full.

It's just a lot of fun to switch between things and slowly fill up the worlds with my own creations.
