Birth Certificates?

Check family inventory. It may have been sent there for some reason - but all my sim babies born in the hospital always get one. A few times I noticed I found them in my families inventory when they are not in their personal inventory when the sims get back home. Never had one. Not even once. I think the majority of my sim babies are born at a hospital
Did the dad go with your sim? I always send the dad too . I was told both parents have to be there to get the BC. It would have been something I would have done anyway as I always sent the dad in Sims 3 also. I get a kick out of their carrying on and all. Granted Sims 4 dads don't go insane like the Sims 3 ones do- but it still cracks me up. So I just never gave it a second thought- it was the dads baby too-so he was going.
But if the dads go too and you still don't get it- I have no clue why not.
Don't know for sure. Sometimes they may have, other times not. Either way, never seen a birth certificate in Sims 2, 3 or 4
