Cool, glad you like the idea! ;) I've also thought of another way. There is at least three venues that I can think of offhand that have a stove your Sim could use to make a cake; the Harbor Quarter Gym in Windenburg on the second floor, the Casbah Art Gallery in San Myshuno and also at the Myshuno Meadows Park there. The park is especially nice since the building is set-up like a reception hall for Weddings. Your Sim could bring along some friends and have a birthday party for herself. :)
