Help with Baby Name Ideas Based on Packs
In my pack challenge I've had quite fun with coming up with name-themes based on the pack themselves, and making sure the next generation gets appropriate names based on the pack they're "born in" if that makes sense.
For BG I used the three base game worlds as inspiration: Willow, Sandy and Neo were the kids, living in Willow Creek, Oasis Springs and Newcrest respectively as adults.
Next pack up was Seasons and names came easy: weather and holidays, and so Sandy named her son Sunny and Willow her daughter Christmas (if Neo had had any kids they would have been named things like Rain, Storm and Gale, but he and his husband just weren't that into the idea of kids. Probably for the best considering...)
Now we're on the next gen and two packs are open. My Wedding Story for Sunny's kids (dead easy, names connected to romance, so Valentine, Love, Cherish...) and Growing Together for Christmas' kids.
This is where it gets trickier. I have a hard time settling on a theme. At the moment I have three ideas for themes, family (Harmony, Unity), growth (Journey, Quest) or San Sequoia Locations (Hope, Gilbert, Marina, Harbor) - but I'm not convinced by either theme entirely.
So I'm asking for help. What are good name themes for Growing Together? And for other packs? I have a few ideas for some packs:
- Get to Work: names connected to vocation (Baker, Tanner)
- Cottage Living: plant based names (Lily, Rose)
- Discover University: Scientists or Authors (Austen, Newton)
- City Living: Actual cities (London, Houston)
