I'm not sure if I'll actually commit to buying a pack, but just in case, I'd like to get some opinions. Do you guys think that I should get Get Together or Snowy Escape? (I'm only looking at ones that are 60% off right now, and I have all the others except Eco Lifestyle, which I don't really want)
I know that both of the packs are very different, but I'm not too sure which one to possibly grab. Get Together seems like a staple, and it's surprising to me that I don't have it yet. The club features, dance skill, Windenburg, and having new items like the arcade game, closet, and diving platforms for pools intrigues me the most, although it all looks interesting. Regarding Snowy Escape, I'm itching for a new vacation-style world besides the more tropical/woodsy ones I have now (Granite Falls, Sulani, Selvadorada), and the activities and festivals look really fun, but I'm not sure I would use its features as much.
If anyone has any other insight or could tell me which pack you think I should get/prefer over the other, that'd be great! Thanks!
GT offers far more "every time you play" features versus "only in this one world" features. Also, Windenberg is hands down one of the best neighborhoods in the game. I would definitely get it first.
I would probably go with GT. Clubs is a game changer. I love to visit nightclubs in the game and part of that is the dancing skill and the DJ booth. I always add the arcade machine, fooseball, don’t wake the llama, and darts to my bar lots, the closet is a good fun object. I still enjoy the invitations to the parties, and the dance party event. I am in the minority that the world isn’t my favorite but the downtown Neighbourhood is. I use that a lot.
I do enjoy snow escape, but it’s pretty much a vacation expansion pack for me. The few things that I can think you can use every day are the hot pot, lifestyles(personally I disabled this), new traits, vending machines, and maybe the onsen lot.As a vacation world I love it. I feel like there’s a lot to do. Two of the neighborhoods are very developed. I love the hiking feature. There’s stuff for the whole family as to toddlers can use the sled with an adult. The animation for the winter sports is very well done. A lot of new foods, and a couple new festivals. The rock climbing skill and then climbing MT komorebi.
Thanks for the insight! I'm thinking of probably choosing Get Together as well, since it's such a staple. Snowy Escape does sound super fun, but I don't really take my Sims on vacations too too often, and I'm not sure I'd have mine live there. It's just such a hard choice though!

Another vote for Get Together, especially at 60% off I think it's good value for what it adds to the game. That said, I don't own Snowy Escape yet so I can't give a truly balanced point 😄
Do you have Get Famous? I'm also looking at the 60% off options and I only have that and Snowy Escape left. Not sure which to go for.
