I'm currently trying to complete week 2. I have one task left which is the one to fix something. But I can't get any thing to break. I've pit on the gremlins and cursed lot challenges but they're not doing anything.
living in a rundown apartment is useful at these time. The quest was simple and gives me hope for a futuristic EP.🙂
I'm using my grunge apartment on my gallery but with some updates like a new desk setup, shelf for the milk cartons and the alarm clock on the bedside table.
magic_dabs64- The Gremlins lot challenge will only cause things to break overnight if everyone in the household is asleep.
If you have a Spellcaster sim, you can use the zip zap spell on an object to break it.
I am in a one sim household and I went to sleep for about 4/5 hours do I need to spend longer asleep
magic_dabs64 - I believe the Gremlins come out at midnight.
I had this problem too. Took forever for something to actually break.
I always make one of my Sims handy, so I was pretty much in dire straights when it came to hoping for something to break since she had high handiness and had upgraded almost everything in the house. I thought I was in luck when I discovered a bathroom with some things not yet upgraded, but despite trying to have her use those often, I got nothing.
It was a rare time I found myself missing the "Break object cheat". She had high enough mischief skill to prank toilets, though. I did not like making my Sim have to resort to "pranking herself".
