That's a nice thought. If everyone remembered that more often, we probably wouldn't have all the issues we've had for centuries, but we do. Where I'm from, some people are definitely not treated like we all come from the same place, our socioeconomical system does benefit people who look like one certain way, not out of deliberate hate, it's just the way it's been for too long and people have a hard recognizing it.
