I love them. When I played with them I added Iggy to the family and I gave them a bichon frise dog named Fifi. Eliza dressed Fifi to bright red ruffled dress and a bow on her head and it was Bob who always had to go walk Fifi. It was hilarious. :D
On another save my Sim has had an affair with Bob for a long time. She's about to age up to an elder soon, Bob is already an elder. She's a loner and gloomy Sim, she lives with her sister and her family and she doesn't want to break Bob's marriage with Eliza, she just wants some love (and woohoo) sometimes.
