The only thing I found annoying about them was that the game doesn't go into the super-ultra-speed when the whole household is sleeping if the stan is outside and awake, so just made a point to go chase them away at bed time.
I do admit to being very pleased the day I heard the grim reaper arrive and scrolled around to find the stan outside frozen-to-death in winter... A new stan was there within a day or two though.
Anywho, I never got a bouncer and the stan was mostly harmless. I even had the famous sim's husband eventually make friends with them just so they were more receptive about leaving when chased away.
I'm on my second STAN at the moment. Seems my Sim has the sort of perks that all he need do is introduce himself and he becomes friends instantly. He did this with STAN number one, a male Sim and I haven't seen him since. He was replaced by a female STAN, this time. I have avoided having him introduce himself on purpose, because I wanted to see what would happen. I'm also using Sacrificial's Road to Fame_Professional Singing Career mod, which allows my Sim to either call the police or hire a bodyguard. I did have a bit of a weirdo fan, let's call him Obsessed, in that he tried at least twice to kiss my Sim. Erik just isn't into guys, let's say. He did his best to be nice all the same, but eventually had to push the fan off of him. (At the time I thought this was his STAN, not knowing that special fan would be identified in the game.) The long and the short of it is the fan ended up stripping during the concert and left some Ambrosia out on the sidewalk for Erik. I took that as a threat. LOL
