Besides being against or not with the hijab thing, people need to understand that yes it is indeed a religious symbol, and also a cultural symbol, but that's because Islam is a religion that is forced in Islam countries, people have no choice to not be a muslim in an Islam country, I myself live in a country where the percentage of muslim people is less than 0.01%, but that doesn't mean I know nothing about this religion, for years I have studied the muslim religion, and yes indeed it was forced on women, nowadays women don't care because it's now part of their culture, I would like to think that nowadays hijabs are not forced upon muslim women, instead I hope that anyone that wears it, is because they want to.
Thank you for bringing information about it. I mean when it comes to the Sims we are forcing them what to wear. Our Sims don't have the free will to choose what they wear. They are part of a computer program. But yes I do think that Simmers can choose what they wear and represent where they live. I have met a lot of Russian mennonite women that wear head coverings and they are covered head to toe in clothing, but shoes are the only thing that they can express themselves with. I really have enjoyed having more head covering options for our Sims. Would be nice to get some from India and other countries.
