Is this possible?
Yes, I guess so, but it's almost impossible. At least for me. The game ruined a married couple in my game. Both their relationship and romance bars where completely red, so I had them get a divorce. And no matter what I did to get them to be nice again, or apologize or find common ground or whatever, it would not happen. One or the other would insult before I could stop them. It became too much a hassle for me. No matter what emotional ornaments I put in their home. One would always queue up to ruin what I was trying to make the other do in the social skills. It went on for like five Sim weeks, I finally gave up and kicked the ex wife out to the homeless townie bin. They still hate each other.- Maybe soon we can move the relationship up with testingcheats.

That would be nice, since the game is the one that made her hate her husband and her neighbor and I hadn't even played them yet. I needed to fix it but it was way too difficult for me. The male wanted to apologize all the time, but she would continue to insult and sling drinks in his face.- With testingcheats shift click and make both happy and see if that works. Also there is a mod to set relationship as well.

You can have any sim have any level of relationship with another sim using the cheat "Modifyrelationship" (not a mod).
You can also remove all their moodlets (buffs) to set them to "fine". - Thanks all, I had hoped there was a way without using cheats/mods (call me crazy, but I like to play the game straight) but it seems to be impossible. I suppose I'll have to move on.

Well, I did it in my game. Both were fully red and hated each other, she moved out. I left them alone for awhile (meaning no contact with each other) and their red bars started to drop. After awhile, they became tolerant of one another. I did have to switch households a lot so I could control each one, but they eventually came together on neutral terms. They then became cordial with one another to the point of a casual friendship. They absolutely could get back together as a couple, but I don't want to take it that far. He's with someone else now. - Yes, my Sim and her baby daddy broke up and got back together 40x before their relationship bar eventually just got real blunt and said we were a "Bad Match." lol!
