Kinda like real life. There have been countless discussions on the forums relating to my collecting hobbies about ridiculous listing prices/auctions that went to a stupidly high amount. I myself once bid on an auction of stuff that I knew was worth no more than my $25 bid. The whole group went for about $1000 and something. Either someone made a mistake/did something stupid/or something that probably no one can explain was going on.
