Brindleton bay is the best world yet!

I brought pets today and I've got to say that i am very amazed by the quality and time put into Brindleton Bay. It's by far ny favourite and a massive world.

The semi open world within this map shows me that may full on open world maps could be added on day. I just love the big spaces my pets and sims have to go and enjoy the fact that it's more explorable than set dressing this time. I love encountering strays and feel that the world was created perfectly for the pets. They just blend in perfectly with the seaside town and trees.

I love all the areas you can explore with this pack! I thought that the lighthouse was set dressing but no. It's its own neighbourhood/island. I made my sim hangout there until here grounding was over and found myself walking towards a hidden yet perfectly placed pet cemetery. I thought that was a great edition too the game, and well hidden to. Behind the foresty type area i saw it and was amazed.

I love the edition of boats being used to travel to these areas and the dock to!

Too finish this off i have a theory. What if the team is working on open world. Sounds crazy but here me out. I've noticed that every expansion opens up more of the world it comes with. For example we started out with that tiny island in windenburg, then the festivals in city living and now the ooen plains within Brindleton Bay. Just a theory but it makes me excited to see what'll br opened up in the next expansion.

It's really a marvelous world. I like it so much I made it my username :D

I remember when I saw it in the very first trailer, I fell in love with it in an instant. I do like all the Sims 4 worlds, but this one really impressed me way beyond the usual "oh that looks cool". Just looking at the map alone I could already start imagining a whole range of stories and characters this world could have. The eternal autumn theme makes Brindleton Bay feel so warm and cozy.

Imagine if the Sims 4 got a Seasons pack that allowed Brindleton Bay to have rain and snow, that would really be the cherry on the top. o:)

    Agreed. That would be awesome!

This was also the first world where I actually kept all the pre-built houses. Even those were rock stars! I modified that converted warehouse one in the wharf area slightly, but, otherwise moved my sims right in as-is.
  • Windenburg is also my favourite but I do love it <3 The warm, Autumnal feel. The likeness to Stars Hollow. It's so beautiful. I just wish it were bigger.

That is strange indeed. If they finally give us a GP with TS2-style cars, they will only be usable in the 2 basegame worlds, Newcrest and the vampire world.

Yeah that's my only complaint it bugs me too, but like @alanmichael1 I wish they'd start coming out with more scenery diverse cities, cloud and dark, sort of like the world that came with the sims 3 supernatural that was always dark which went well with the fact that it was a super natural world.
  • I absolutely agree! While I do love San Myshuno with all its background animations and sparkling lights, I have found myself hanging out most of the time at Brindleton Bay now. It is just such an amazing place---I can almost feel that fresh sea air and salt & fish aromas wafting out of my hard drive haha. I absolutely love the wharf area...it's one of my favorite places to go now. I added a live-in lighthouse in the 40x30 lot, so that my sims can just walk outside and enjoy the docks and vendors at any time.

I was a little worried that we would not be able to see our sims when they entered the lighthouse rabbit hole, but was delighted with how that works.

I feel like the sims team really put a lot of effort into making this coastal village as realistic as possible...and I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am.

The only thing that would have made it perfect was the ability to lay out on the beach and actually go in the ocean! That would have been amazing!
  • The world is beautiful, but too small.. and I dislike all the dirty stray pets that roam around the world.
To me Windenburg is the best world!
