"Bring Cake Out" ?

I've decided my teens are all about a 'year' apart in age. So, I aged up the eldest and the next day I aged up the second child. For the third teen, I decided the family would go to a posh restaurant and have them bring out the cake. It used to work just fine. But, this is twice most recently where I attempted to have this happen and a big NOTHING BURGER. Not only that, but despite the problems with another patron undressing and sitting there naked just one table away, my Global Superstar called the police (I use the Road to Fame mod). The first officer entered the place and I had my Sim "frame" the naked guy. I wasn't sure how to proceed. He appeared to place hand cuffs on the 'offender' but then the camera jumped. The second officer arrived and asked what was the emergency. :open_mouth: I couldn't find any response for my Sim and realized I may have jumped the gun. So, now it's just after 1 AM and my Sims still have not been served their meal, which I had them order probably close to three Sim hours ago. Since I also use MCCC I just aged up the Birthday Boy.

So, how long has the Bring Cake Out feature been broken? I'm totally bummed. This would have made a very nice birthday surprise for the Jr. in the family. Yes, he carries his father's full name.

Oh, well, at least I had some drama in the game, right? LOL
