- Well, it's not the exact answer I'm looking for. Thanks though for your reply - but my question is I have 2 different families living in the same house hold. I want to play the new family I moved into my house hold into another "empty" lot (so I can build their house) but when I go into Manage World - Manage Household - there's no option to move into an empty lot - you have to pick another family to move that family into, and that's not what I want. I want to move my family into an 'EMPTY' lot - but it doesn't give you that option, unless I'm over looking something.
I found a solution, not exactly what I'm looking for - it's like playing musical chairs but with houses - but I moved the family I wanted to play into a house occupied by a smi (that I didn't want to play) and then moved him into a another household that I'm not playing, so the family that I did want to play has their own house. Geez, you think they could of made moving sims alittle easier like call on the phone and MOVE - like in Sims 3. - Glad you found a solution! I wanted to move my sim out of the house but leave two others there and I couldn't figure it out!
- You have to manage your world & put them in CAS. From there you can split the household(s) up. It took me forever to figure out!

Thanks! I saw that but I was scared that it might delete the other sims in the house :P"sweetest85;12572573" wrote:

Agreed. It is an inconvenience."PrettyCallous;12724313" wrote:
After you go to Manage Households > Transfer Sims, you can also "Create a New Household" with the selected Sims instead of swapping them to an existing house. There's a round button at the top of the right side column to do this.
Man, I wish I had known this before I spent thirty minutes last night playing musical houses just trying to make my Sim's sister move out."PrettyCallous;12724313" wrote:

I recommend this way. You don't need to go to CAS to split households.- the fact that you have to go through such a hassle is ridiculous. They need to implement the move function like on the sims 3.
- Yeah they need to make something like that again @Nicksp
