Britechester 40x30 Lot - Residential Stairs Issue

Question

Last night I decided to build a residential on the 40x30 lot in Britechester, moved two people in and when one Sim started to feel sleepy, I selected an upstairs bedroom for her to sleep and she started waving her arm in the air stating "Uh, I can't go there."

I checked the staircase and noticed perfectly clearly that it wasn't blocked at all. I select her to just go to the top of the stairs; "Uh, I can't go there."

I managed to fix the problem. Don't know if it was the stairs weren't positioned properly or the ceiling light was in the way.

I think the problem is, when a Sim says they can't go somewhere they never say or hint as to why. Is there a fence in the way? is there no door?

Yah, that would be great if they got a thought bubble with a picture of what was stopping them.
