Hmm thank you! I was reading about that right now... i think i prefer to go the desktop way... i don't even know which exact graphic card i have on the laptop. It may be better to start from 0 than spending money on my laptop...

I think your components look good. I think the sims4 can run pretty good on those specs. It doesn't hurt to just google around and see what other people say about the components though. I googled the CPU and a lot of people seem happy with it.
