*I'm having problems with my laptop. It's an intel core 7 8***U with an integrated nvidea. It's not a bad laptop, just can't handle all the packs properly. I can only play at medium graphics and offline. Switching it either to high graphics or online will cause great lag. I barely use mods and my catches, tray and saves folders are almost empty. I'm also disgusted cause i wanted to use mccc and the laptop can't handle it. I can hear the laptop doing a great effort and it heats as hell...
Your laptop probably needs more RAM.
lol? why do you get to that conclusion? he didnt say how much ram the laptop has. But i guess it has 8gb at least. MORE than enough to play the sims 4 at maximum performance. Laptops are not just for videogaming, period. Sooner or later they will underperform, and make games lag. Its how it is. And it has nothing to do with the amount of RAM or whatever.
Also, an integrated graphic card is always BAD, specially in laptops. Since we dont even know what videocard is, we can only assume.
It may play basegame at maximum performance, but not if you have all the packs installed, and maybe also some CC, and want to be able to surf the internet at the same time, or listen to your own music. Since they upgraded to 64 bit it can use all the RAM memory available, so more RAM will always help, regardless of video card or processor.
