Bunk beds?!

Has anyone else seen the sims have the bunk bed thought bubble? Please, please tell me this means maxis is bringing them back!

Yeah, if this do this, and I hope they will, the best option would be to have 3 types - the low budget/low comfort option, a mid range option and a high level option. Bunk beds for every budget!

To add to this thread, why not L shaped bunk beds?

My sisters had that.... and at TS4 would be like at real. The lower bed separable than can be used alone, and the upper bed has a commode included

It was a missed opportunity to include them in City Living or the SP that didn't win (Starter Home Stuff). However, the next chance I see for Eaxis to include bunk beds is a University EP. At university you have to make the best out of the small space you have. Maybe two Sims have enough money to rent a house together, but the house only has one bedroom. The solution: a bunk bed! And the rest of the room can be turned into a study.

I wish, but they won't. This is why I'm pretty 'meh' about bunk beds (plus, I almost never have more than one kid at a time). I never used them in Sims 3 because they had such low sleep ratings. I'd rather see more single beds with 8-10 sleep ratings than bunk beds. For my kids, I'll use a 5 or 6, since it seems reasonable that kids should sleep more, but my teens are so tired of that Princess Cordelia bed.
  • We definitely need better single beds, both generally and for kids. But bunk beds would be a great space saver since the larger houses are so expensive.

Definitely. I feel sorry for my sims kids having to sleep on those bad mattresses all the time. My real life kids had good mattresses just like me and hubby had. Who buys their kids a bad mattress to sleep on for crying out loud anyway?
  • Forget about the old classic bunk beds, its just fair we could get triple bunk beds now since we have high walls to accommodate that.
