Buried Treasure and Seashells

I think I found a lot of seashells mostly by combing the beach. I would try different beaches around the world. For the treasure do you have the treasure tool diving gear?

Have you tried combing all of the beach areas? I heard Mua Pel’am has some in different areas.

I haven’t tried the dolphin thing yet, but I thought the dolphins can retrieve some shells, too?

You could also retrait the Sim and try adding the collector trait. Maybe that will help.

In Sulani, there is the festival area, with the fire pit. When there is a festival there, the locals bring shells and leave them on a table in the center of the festival area. You can collect a lot of different shells that way, in a rather short time. As soon as you collect the shells, the villagers will deposit others to replace them.

Cancel out? Maybe a bug? Is he not able to go deep enough into the water because he’s not skilled enough? I think diving is a skill that needs to be leveled up. (I think. A lot of my sims are mermaids, so I haven’t tried scuba diving, for obvious reasons, lol.)

Have you tried beach-combing, fishing, the cave area mentioned above, asking the dolphins, etc?

Do you play with autonomy on? Maybe you could try to turn it off just for the diving task to see if it won't cancel. Hopefully it's not a bug. I think you need to have a high fitness skill too, in order to dive deeper in the ocean.

Maybe one of these would help with buried treasure? You need level 3 fitness and a type of diving gear or tool, it sounds like. Maybe you have to check certain areas, too. Free diving sounds like another method?
