Butler Problems.. anyone else have one or more of these?

I too, am having issues with clock speed and my butler not sleeping during the night. Also, I don't allow him to get the door anymore, because he is unable to do anything else until the last guest enters/leaves the property.

Curious question - if your butler happens to be a kleptomanic, and being an NPC that actually lives in the house, can you get your stolen stuff back when he dies? Mine seems to have a fascination with all the chairs in the house :D
