Buying packs and intentionally not using the main feature

Is it worth to buy a pack for just the CAS/build buy or some side features and completely ignore the main feature. The reason why I am wondering about this is eco lifestyle. I was debating whether...

I usually at least try to use all aspects of the packs, that's part of the fun for me. I don't want to judge what everyone else does with their money and time.
