I can see the appeal of taking families to a slight degree if children can learn the new skills. I don't see it as a honeymoon spot because well getting chased by bees and bitten by spiders doesn't scream romance ;) If they can't I don't really see the appeal of taking them either. And for me that's ok, I don't see this a family fun pack.
But then it's only a game pack the main focus is adventuring and relic/treasure collecting. (Not saying it can't be used for other things) I had no problems taking families on vacation in WA. The last time I took a family they all learned the martial arts skill, my teen improved her grades at school (the trip was a school opportunity) they bought some new recipe books, met some nice locals, one who regularly comes as a house guest and hopefully will be the spouse of my heir and they bought a lot of fun souvenirs and they learned skills they can continue to build at home. Didn't go near a tomb. Family still had fun.
