By definition, Jungle Adventure doesn't have real traps.
There are nothing more than obstacles that your sims have to overcome. They don't have the element of surprise. They're bluntly visible, and you know the exact danger If you directed a sim to go dare...

It's not just clicking and pointing and hoping you get lucky. With higher archaeology skill you can study the traps and deduce which one is more likely to be the answer.
Some of the treasure chests are also booby trapped! HEre's one I saw in a spoiler tag.

Finally a post that actually gives me hope in this respect, this is exactly what I expect from the pack.
It's what I expected as well. It's a vacation adventure pack - not a Lara Croft pack and what I expected in the Sims. I mean if toddlers and pets can go with the family - who really expected Lara Croft?
I remember my father once jeering at my Sims 3 adventure experiences, he’s an avid Tomb Raider fan, but for me the Sims version of adventuring is more fun. I’ve just seen parts of the livestream Zeldaboy’s referring to, for me it’s enough to be really interested now (didn’t watch too much, I want to find it all out by myself).
