Get piriforms CCleaner. Amazing free cleaning tool for your PC. Been using it for something like 15 years now.
Other than that, are you playing on a laptop? If you have only one hard drive, I suggest you keep all your stuff on an external drive. You can install TS4 on that, but keep the local files, and then play it when you plug it in.

Usually, you should designate your default drive only on windows / essential programs. If the windows drive gets clogged up, it can cause problems for your OS.
