Caleb Vatore

Ngl I’ve never understood the thing with Caleb, he’s got one of the hairstyles I’ve literally never used, equally because it’s iconic of Caleb and coz it’s horrible lol.. I dunno, I appreciate it for being way different to the other hairs as I’d like more niche hair styles (soooo many near duplicate hairdos especially for men), but it’s just too extreme an emo fringe Lol

First thing I did on my save file was reimagine Forgotten Hollow, and unfortunately the Vatores (is that his last name lol?), didn’t make the cut.. I have a vampire family inspired by the movie “interview with a vampire”, they are my 2 vampire hunks lol

He turned the first heir of my legacy into a vampire and married her~

Now they're both immortals in the family while the descendants continue to grow old and make new heirs <3

In a couple of my current saves, Caleb is in the running to marry in. I've made him a babydaddy before, and his kids end up with weirdly small eyes, which is odd because his eyes aren't small. I do like his look though. And his house isn't bad...

@phantasmkiss Yeah, the eye thing I have been complaining about over at HQ for like forever. Ended up being given a workaround and not a fix: Before breeding caleb, change his eyes in CAS then undo the change and exit CAS. His eyes should be passed down normally now. If not, stake him :p

It depends of a save. In my current one, Caleb started out as a main romantic interest of my sim, but their relationship has become pretty toxic since then, not helped by Caleb having both a wife and another lover, in addition to my sim's live-in baby daddy/best friend who has loathed Caleb from the first sight and is doing everything in his power to get rid of him for good. It's the most drama I have ever had with him, I am loving every moment of it :D
In my other saves, Caleb is happily married to my sims, though.

Could you elaborate? I find him a pain in the butt too (so shocked we can say butt here, when we can't say so many far more innocuous and useful words!) but he became a the central figure in my story anyway. But he's always so hard to work with and I could never put my finger on it. What have you found about him that is difficult?

Also, to those who said he was too much like Twilight, I never watched the show, but I did read the book (and hated it!) but I don't see the resemblance. I should ask in another thread who has both seen that show and read the book, and what their take is on the key differences.

He's more inspired by Vampire Diaries, his last name is even really similar to the show's Salvatore brothers. I like to relate him to being more similar to Edward in my game, though, because I enjoyed Twilight and couldn't get into the Vampire Diaries show.

I mostly find him annoying because he keeps wanting to go to romance festival with vlad even though I'm trying to make them enemies

Gameplay-wise, his obsessive compulsive behavior regarding watching cooking shows and drinking water. Also, I view him as a cynical manipulator. During a holiday such as Harvestfest, he ignores the tradition of showing gratitude due to his materialistic trait. I don't find that very appealing. Then there is the whole air of "vampire darling" around him that just makes me gag. I have tried to watch Twilight and Vampire Diaries, but I find both a complete waste of my time. Neither portrait vampires the way I view them.

not entirely against pretty dudes but like they shouldn't act like teen boys when they old as heck

biggest reason I was really not feeling ts3 version of vampires

it made me hiss like vlad
and I am glad ts4 went into other directions
