I just wish the game would give notifications about these festivals especially Family Fun Day which is random- Kimmer_one5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Wow! I'm ashamed to admit this, but I haven't even heard of these festivals and Island Living is one of my favorite EP's. :o :/
I only know about one festival but I don't even remember the name of it. It's the only one my Sims get notified, but not always. Sometimes my Sims have accidentally found it.
I've never gotten any notifications of the rest of them, even if my Sims are living in Sulani. Why on earth are they hidden? Are we not supposed to know about them?
Is there any list of where exactly these festivals are held or do I have to travel on every neighborhood and lot to find them? I need to experience these things, I can't believe I've missed them completely. - @Kimmer
The details are in the link to the source ? - "These events take place in the Towne Center."

Thank you. So they're all held at the same place. It probably means my Sims have probably been on few of the festivals but because they are set so similarly I've always thought it was the same one every time. There's always been food and Sims are firedancing randomly. - @Kimmer
If my understanding is correct, all of them take place in the Towne Center ?
I have to see those myself - Kimmer_one5 years agoSeasoned Ace

I edited my previous comment. ;) - simsimsere5 years agoSeasoned AceI understand it can be annoying that IL festivals have no notifications, but it kind of fits the Sulani vibe.
- RouenSims5 years agoSeasoned AceI really like the way the calendar looks now.
- Gyldenloev5 years agoNew VeteranSorry for going off tonic, but I don’t think all the Sulani festivals take place at the Town Center. I had sims vacationing at Lagoon Look the other day, and some days there would be balloons and banners on the beach at the cove between Lagoon Look and Kin-Ship. My sims also joined some other sims having a bonfire there one of the evenings where the bonfire disappeared later on similar to the stuff from the other festivals.
And one of the days they spent there, I also noticed a bunch of sims running towards the fishing spot enclosed by a net (no idea what that is called), and three of them stood on the pier next to each other fishing, so I think the fishing competition could be happening there.
On topic - interesting with the new calendar. Icons seem quite a bit bigger, but it’s sweet with the picture of the birthday kid, and probably easier to keep track of if you have large families.
