Is there any way to stop the camera changing heights as I scroll over my lot? It's driving me absolutely insane now lol. I'm guessing it's because I go over a tree or whatever but I just want it to stop, I'm happy to clip through.EDIT: Direct Link to the solution, thanks for directing me to it :)

File paths for editing the camera.ini file: MacRight click on the base game app in your Applications > EA Games folder or wherever you have the game installed and select Show package contents then navigate to Contents > res > Camera.ini WindowsNavigate to wherever your game is installed, by default C: > Program Files > EA Games then The Sims 4 > Game > Bin > res > Camera.ini Open Camera.ini in a text editor such as TextEdit (Mac) Notepad (Windows), find all instances of IgnoreLotLevel and change the value to true.

You can disable the camrea drift for some degree from the game files. I don't have the DLC so I don't know if it'll work there but you can try.
Locate you game folder (can be found in Origin > App. settings > Install & Saves > Game library location) go to \The Sims 4\Game\Bin\res and edit Camera.ini with any text editor. Find every "IgnoreLotLevel" (without quotes) and change them all to true and save.
Only drift I could see after that was on foundation level for some reason but it's barely even noticable. Hope this helps.

There is no way, sorry. I don't know about mods tho. Just play on one storey. ? ? ?

Same as Dekay says. I build a lot of different storey homes, but I only play in the single storey ones and I don't tend to put in trees near the house because of the camera thing too.

I have not tried this myself yet, but I've been tempted to try it a few times because camera bounce is one of my top annoyances when building in this game. The camera bounce supposedly has something to do with the 'IgnoreLotLevel' setting in the camera.ini file according to Mustikkapensas on a thread about this issue at Answers.EA.com. Here's what they say:

I guess it's worth a try if you're not afraid of possibly messing up your game. Could always copy the camera.ini file's original contents first and copy them back if needed. I just haven't reached the straw that broke the Llama's back yet. If you get my drift. No pun intended! :)
