Can’t carry toddlers when hiking?

I’m really excited about this new patch. It sounds fantastic! I’m just curious about why they would intentionally remove the ability to carry toddlers when hiking. Lots of people do that in real life.

Honestly, I don't understand going on a long walk knowing you have a toddler that can't walk very long. Does no one use strollers anymore?

If you mean in real life, many parks and natural areas do not allow wheeled vehicles of any kind, including strollers, on hiking trails.

Agreed. There are also a lot of trails that are too rough for wheels.

Yep. Usually either the trail is too rough for the stroller, or the stroller is too rough on the trail.
  • Toddlers need off road quads. And so do all sims. I'm sure you can climb the stairs with those things.

There are actually some pretty intense strollers out there and you could off-road with some of them. The bigger issue is that wheels (bikes, rollerblades, strollers, wheelchairs, etc.) are generally prohibited because of the damage they can do to the trails and surrounding area.

Ymmv depending on your city/state/region/country, and whether you are talking about local v. state v. federal parks, or private property.
