- somewhsome5 years agoSeasoned AceStrange that game didn't allow you to sell food from Eco Lifestyle tables.
From my experience, all tables are the same in terms of functionality, and you can sell food from City Living and Selvadorada ones definitely (it should be untouched food though, plates that sims have already eaten from will cost 0$).
And you can sell on any lot. - Hi @somewhsome
my sim made the food at home then i put it in her inventory travelled to the community lot and tried to sell the food is this why it is not working? I have tried looking online for a list of things I can actually sell but cannot find anything and thought home cooked food would be a great way to sell :) - somewhsome5 years agoSeasoned Ace

How exactly it wasn't working? I've just checked in my game and everything went fine.Spoilerhttps://sun1-84.userapi.com/f3Jdx9geCnAm_6hmMSR2Cb0Xj-NWV7_acgjcFw/6AnyeVs1Lkc.jpg
And Lily Feng soon bought my brownies, so no problems for me. - Korgly5 years agoNew Hotshot

Hi
I have only just got used to placing the community space lots with the sales tables from eco living so my first try was to send my sim to one of the eco tables to sell baked goods but the game states I cannot do that so can anyone tell me which tables sell what please..
also can sims sell from the city living and Salvadorian tables as well? if so is this possible on community space lots too or is it only other lots? and is so which other lots?
I have not been able to sell at community lots either but, read you can place stuff on top of the table, I use my eco table like a yard sale at home and the step I have to take is "view inventory" to fill the sale goods and then "stock table" after "tending table" I get the option to "start yard sale" hope that helps. - @somewhsome
Thank you for the pic this proves it might be a bug in my game then because I certainly cannot sell my sims own cooked food.. :(
@Korgly
thank you for the yard sale info but I actually bought the eco living pack so I could do that specifically at community lots which I loved the idea of however if I cannot do that I will try other ways, honestly does anything in this game ever work anymore??? "CelSims;c-17703049" wrote:

When you zone in, if an npc that is zoned in chooses to use the table as well, they get priority and anything you try to use the table for won't work. This might have been what you experienced. Try putting multiple tables and using a different one, or kick the npc off in the way of your choice. Inconsiderate NPCs tend to die a lot in my games.
Thank you i will try again and see if this might be happening :) This "Inconsiderate NPCs tend to die a lot in my games." hahaha very funny and probably very relevant :)- Korgly5 years agoNew Hotshotas far as for what you can sell on tables I know you can sell..
Artifacts
Metals
Clay and Future cubes
Candles
Woodworking Sculptures
Potions
Flowers
just to list the ones I've sold probably others
I havn't been able to sell furniture even tho I read somewhere the tarps from city living work but, there is a street display for paintings that works
as far as stuff that I cant sell all I know of so far is Gnomes - @Korgly
thanks for that list off to go find something I can try and sell to test it out :) I will be back ;) - GroovyLady19685 years agoSeasoned AceIf you can place it on the table from your Sims inventory your Sim can sell it. Example... upgrade parts can not be added to the inventory of the table but I can place upgrade parts on the table myself and they still sell. It might surprise some but fresh or fowl fish sell also. I learn all from watching Dr. Gluon and James Turner. They push the limits.
- crocobaura5 years agoLegendFrom my experience it is better to buy your own table and use it on community lots. The NPCs tend to hog the tables already available on the lot, sometimes they hog the table but do something else so it appears like the table is free. You could try resetting the tables and see if you can cancel the NPC occupancy that way.
