Can I have a little ghost, as a treat?

Question

I’ve seen it mentioned a few times now that mediums will only be able to summon ghosts that exist in the world. Is there a way I can create more ghosts to keep that area of gameplay interesting without having to deal with ghosts at every club, bowling alley, restaurant, etc. my sims go to?

Any advice would be appreciated! I haven’t really played with ghosts at all, so I’m a bit clueless.

Oh, I'm aware that you can't "create" ghosts in the normal CAS sense (which is a real shame). I just meant that if I saw fit to preemptively...um... "populate" the world with ghosts, would they show up at every festival, café, and park my Sims frequent? Sorry for being unclear!

This is my exact worry!! I don't want to see ghosts around chatting at the bar lol

Actually, you can create a ghost in CAS. You have to copy or download any ghost in CAS - and you can change it to your taste.
I think the best way to have a "base" ghost in CAS is to summon a ghost child with a Wishing Well (Romantic Garden SP).
