Can sims get Paranoid without Paranoid trait, because I don't have StrangerVille installed

i think they might have added looking behind to scared too actually cause i do remember my non paranoid sims doing that

Not a bug, since the paranoid trait came with Strangerville. It's not a base game trait, so you'll need to reinstall Strangerville if you want it to work. Or maybe, try a mod: https://modthesims.info/d/569298/the-paranoid-trait.html

They did everything a paranoid sim do in strangerville, walk up to another one and scare them and other sims have to calm them down, they walked fast and started looking around them like paranoid sims do in strangerville.

Oh, I think you are misunderstanding what I wrote.

I have an issue with my sim acting like that when that game is not installed, it's a bug because that pack is not installed on this computer I'm playing on.

Ok. Now I wonder if its the erratic trait. I remember them updating that base game trait. It used to be called something else like insane or something.

I don't want my sims townies acting paranoid because strangerville is installed on my other computer that is pack away and this one it is not.

All of the townies in the bar were acting like George Cahill from strangerville expect for my sim and the other two sims that was talking.

Yeah, exactly like @Simmingal writes, it's scared emotion, not the paranoid trait, 100%. When Strangerville just came out, there was no such thing as "walk up to another one and scare them and other sims have to calm them down", even paranoid sims didn'd do that, because it was added with a scared emotion in 2021.
Probably now paranoid sims/sims in Strangerville are scared more often than others, that's why you think it's because of the trait. But it's not.

I wonder what made them scared.

Yep, my townie sims were acting paranoid, standing in one spot looking around and some of them would sit down, they never showed being scared like the other screenshots.
