Can someone explain the skating skill to me?

Thank you! I don’t really get the point of making it a hidden skill, but at least I know my sim is gaining something from skating all day.

I found the hidden part odd and a bit annoying as well.

I’m a little surprised that it’s a hidden skill because the Gurus said it has 5 levels.

I have noticed that the better my sims got at fitness, the better she got at skating. She can now do a routine and can do back flips.

I’m disappointed though that sims can’t skate together as a couple.
