Can Someone Please Explain the Appeal of Build Videos?

Okay, so I have noticed right now build videos seem to be most popular among YouTube watching sims fans. And not to be rude in any way, but I honestly don't get the appeal of them. Sure, I love to see...

Also, I enjoy build videos like this or more so displays of rooms and transitions with no commentary. It is relaxing and still gives me good ideas.
