Can Someone Please Explain the Appeal of Build Videos?

I’m really bad at building and when watching let’s builds it gives some new insights to change things up. Give a new idea. I saw a streamer change the angle of tiny glass roof to give the impression of an open window, that was very neat. Sometimes seeing what they do makes me think. Though tbh I only watch short 1 let builds video(10-20mins), not part 1,2,3...that does go kinda overboard imo
