Can spellcasters and vampires become werewolves?

Theoretically, there is a way for a Spellcaster to also be a werewolf (it's come up in a couple of threads) but the result is very glitchy.

Basically, you need a sim with the Dormant Werewolf trait (sometimes occurs with the children of werewolves) to become a spellcaster and then swim in Lake Lunvik under the full moon - at which point the dormant trait makes them a werewolf.

I'm a turned werewolf. So it's not a good idea to make hybrid with the game features provided eh? I'm on console.

Which is where I got my information on how you can do a spellcaster/werewolf.

If your sim is already a werewolf, then the other occults are only an option via cheats, which I don't know how easy those are to do on console.

Now that is odd... Was the bite intentional or unintentional due to fight (werebies)? If it was intentional or if your sim had werebies for too long, the remedy won't work. Though at that point, you can't obtain the remedy anyway...

For now, I can suggest this cheat (it requires testingcheats to be on):

traits.remove_trait trait_OccultWerewolf

I'll go test it out and see if I can make it happen in my game.

My spellcaster turned into a werewolf the other day after getting bitten. I "cured" her too but the fury effects remained, amongst other werewolf habits (like scratching). I had her drink another cure, had her travel somewhere, then back home and it seemed to have fixed itself after that. I'm not sure if that will fix it for you but that's what sorted it out for me.

Just tested this out. Didn't manage to replicate it (I think), but I made another discovery.

If your sim is becoming a werewolf, there's nothing stopping you of becoming another occult. So, you can go and become a spellcaster before the sim becomes a werewolf and you got a hybrid.

My thought is that the fury "need" isn't properly removed after getting cured or something like that...

I have noticed though that being another occult even prevents your sim getting werebies... So reading this is really strange...

I got some screenshots. Now, this wasn't the spellcaster who briefly became a werewolf but this is her daughter (also a spellcaster). I started a new save with just the mom and two Greglets, then linked Greg in the new save as their father, (because he is) and left him living in his shack rather than with the family. She got bit exploring tunnels. I sent her over to the bar to ask for the remedy and got her cured right away.

No hybrids. There might be a mod to achieve this.

She definitely got werebies, although I didn't notice it the first time when she actually turned into a werewolf. For a little context, she was in a romance with Greg and I moved him into her house. She's mean and evil so they ended up arguing a lot once he moved in. She aggravated him so much they ended up hating each other. They got into that fight and I didn't pay much notice of it, I think she went to work. She works nights as a criminal. Then she transformed the next morning after returning from work. I didn't want her to become a werewolf, so I had to try a few times to fully get rid of the lasting effects after she got cured. But they kept on getting into fights and I noticed after that she did get werebies, but I got rid of it immediately before it went any further.
