Can we have seperate window shutters already?

Why don't we have seperate shutters for windows TS4? There are windows that only come with shutters. There are windows that don't have any shutters. And while we're at it, shutters for doors too maybe? I also really want to put shutters on the windows and doors that came with C&D and GT. So can we please have this? It seems so simple compared to other requests, but rather effective.

    I like this idea. And while they are at it, how about adding sliding doors. They can do it because they have sliding doors on closets.

    I feel after all this time (since sims 1), separate shutters and windows (that all match with each other) should be a basic staple.

    It would offer so much more diversity and creativity from the player. It would also cut down on having to reinvent the wheel each time they come out with build items. They could focus on offering more ‘new’ ideas.

    This gave me another idea. Just thought of it now. Would it be difficult to separate doors and frames? It would cut down on re-creating separate arches and doors that match, as well as cut down on duplicate items.

    We could place the frame (arch) of our choosing and add a door or leave it open.

    I wonder if this is also a possibility.

    YES! I was literally watching fixer upper the other day and they always put nice shutters on the front and I was thinking “wow that really ties everything together...why doesn’t sims have that??”

    It's especially annoying when the windows with the shutters open are two squares in width with the windows themselves sitting halfway between the squares, and the same windows with the shutters closed are one square in width, so they don't align properly at all when you want to have some open and some closed ones across the same wall.

    I would like shutters too. And another thing, bedspreads in solid colors for the beds, there are too many prints that won't go with anything. One of the newest beds looks so terrible with that print that I have to change it with CC spreads that I have for other beds.
