- This would be good.
- LiELF4 years agoLegendDefinitely. This should have been an early priority in the game.
- shellbeme4 years agoSeasoned VeteranI would LOVE this option!

When I don’t play my households, they always seem to be developing flirty relationships which is very frustrating.
Brent Hecking has romanced a lady townie. ??♂️. That doesn’t make sense.
Somehow Bob Pancakes has a romance with Katrina Caliente! ???♂️.
Dylan Sigmore has also flirted with a lady townie. The pink bar is there but lower than quarter way. ??♂️.
It’s funny but very annoying at the same time. I fix it by using the ‘let’s be friends’ when I next play them and find out who they have been flirting with.
I do wish we had a way to turning romance off outside the lot were playing. There’s no sense to the current system. It’s very immersion breaking. - That totally should be added in the game. I mean, we have pride flags, we'll get pronouns, why don't we have a system to select what gender(s) our sims are attracted to? This could also be the first step for an attraction/chemistry system.

It must be impossible because some of us have been asking for sexual preference settings in CAS for this game and before the end of TS3 since as long as I can remember. :/
If that is the case it must be relatively recent as TS2 played sims are neutral until the player makes the selection. At least some of the townies are pre-set. - crocobaura4 years agoLegendI think the sexual non-discrimination is deliberate. It promotes the free love, LGBTQ and transsexual communities they have been otherwise actively promoting. I am more bothered by the fact that my sims get an automatic pink bar with whichever sim decides to do a random declaration of love. Some of those sims my sims hardly knew, being smooched when they hardly knew them is considered assault nowadays, not love.
- barisaxy4 years agoNew AceI've never understood why this couldn't be a thing. Nevertheless, I have a number of mods that allow me to do this and I recommend them. (WonderfulWhims is great for this, IIRC)
- alanmichael14 years agoSeasoned AceI don't know ... If the game then only auto-creates straight townies, I will quit playing it.

Yes WonderfulWhims allows you to choose sexual orientation along with quite few other factors for attraction. Basically turn ons and turn offs. Also I do believe you can go in and setup a percentage on how many sims in the world be straight and how many will be gay.
ETA: I went in and checked and yes WW, does allow you to control the distribution of sexual orientations of newly generated sims, including asexual and bi. The only way to control existing sims is through the like/dislike option in each sims personal settings. It's cumbersome but at this point it's the best way I know of to fix the issue.
