100% agree. As a non American I'm so bored of it being an American simulator, I want some worlds with personality; a Spanish inspired world with classic architecture, an Egyptian type world with pyramids and street markets, a Japanese type world with beautiful gardens, rural housing and a bustling small shopping district, a Brazilian type world with sunny city streets and apartments by the sea.
Also the game needs more diverse sims - the entire population seems to be either white, black or polynesian and that's it. I think there's about 3? Asian sims built into the entire game in total. Where are the Indian, middle eastern, south american, native american, southern european, etc etc sims
I actually think they offer good variety.
So far we’ve had European, Latin American, Asia, and Pacific Islands.
I wouldn't really call that good variety, there's about 12 US inspired worlds, one island world, one Latin jungle type world and a vaguely European world. San Myshuno has nothing distinctly Asian about it other than Myshuno sounding vaguely Japanese
