Can you remove a season ?

I believe the only way to do this would be to use the weather machine to change the season when it gets to one you don't want.

In TS2, yes. You can make any season pattern you want in any given world. From what I've seen in the forums and such data that EA has given it appears that TS4 takes that ability away. Usual pattern.

You can't, but you can change the weather in a world so that only winter and fall weather appears. You'll just have to alter the weather tuning to make it happen. Right now I have my own mod that I made for personal use and I altered the worlds weather to be more consistent and make sense for each world like willow creek gets less chances of snow in fall/spring. Now the only real chance for "snow" is in winter more likely to drop during the mid-late part of the seasons. Summer is hotter and makes more sense while spring has a higher chance of thunderstorms. It's now closer to Louisiana style weather.

So you could tune your own weather. This mod here http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=615961 taught me which files that I needed to edit to make this happen and it shouldn't be too difficult for anyone to do. Most of it makes sense and is intuitive enough. That's probably the closest you'll get to being able to "take out" a season or two.

There is a weather machine in the game, if you prefer that over a mod.

But to change seasson you need an updgrade to the maachine, than cn be done by a sim with handyness 8

Or you know, cheat to change to the season you want:

Set Current Season
This sets the season to whichever season you specify.
*Replace <#> with the number corresponding below.
0: Summer
1: Fall
2: Winter
3: Spring

seasons.set_season <#>

Advance Season
This advances the season to the next logical season

seasons.advance_season

Set Season Length
Does same thing as gameplay options, sets length of each season
0: Normal
1: Long
3: Very Long

seasons.set_season_length <#>

I didn't realize we had cheat codes to do that! I can keep all my houses in the same season until I was through them all with this, right? That's awesome!!
