Interesting that not a single person has hailed that the names HAVE stayed the same after marrriage. Me, I'm a feminist. I have no issue, personally, many has been the time I changed my female Sims names BACk to keep their maiden names. It does have it's actual necessities, though, to be able to change names for different reasons - even in error.
