Can't Upgrade Electronics
I did a search for this issue earlier and find one person who posted in the general forums and I restarted the discussion there (forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/795990/upgrade-electronics - it won't let me post "links" cause I "haven't been around long enough"). This is fast becoming a technical issue, I think, so I wanted to make my own post in the correct location in hopes of getting some additional help.
As stated in the above thread, I can upgrade other items (sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, microwaves, refrigerator) just fine, but when I go to try and make upgrades to electronics (TVs, stereos, PCs) I don't have an option to upgrade them... just break them down for parts. I've tried repairing, deleting the sims 4 folder and replacing ONLY my save files (doing each independently and then both before loaded into the game). My save files aren't bloated and seem fairly normal. Everything else is working fine BUT this one issue. I've only had the game for two days and no I haven't downloaded anything from the gallery or any MODs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
((Also want to note that my electronics are CONSTANTLY breaking as well... way more than I think they should and way more than other things I use often in the house are breaking.))
