Carl's Sims 4 Site Thread
Latest: Emotions Guide
Also, The Careers Section now has all 8 Careers. Can't wait to update in December when they release the new ones!
Hi guys, I'm Carl and would like to make a thread where folks can critique my work and provide details I've missed. I wish I had chosen a more obvious username, but am stuck with silencecomplex  My team and I have worked hard to put out around 1 page each day for The Sims 4 and I realize there are many things that can be missed in such a complex game. I'd love to hear from you here, so that I can make edits and improve our work for future readers. None of my work would be so good without valuable feedback from the community. If you have ideas for Guides that are not so obvious, let me know!
My site is: here. We have published 18 pages thus far, which I guess is the perfect amount considering the date and our goals. :)
Guides are listed there with the latest at the top. Our current agenda is to finish the Skills/Careers sections then move on to an Emotions Guide. Things like Traits, Death, and the like will come later.
It will take us at least a couple more months to finish covering the base game. I hope to update more thoroughly with each Expansion release than I did with The Sims 3. I got overwhelmed myself, but think that my new format for writing guides/taking notes and easier to edit pages will help me be more efficient.
Unfortunately, I'm waiting on some bugs to be fixed just like you guys, only I'll need to edit several pages when they are corrected. I've tried to warn people of issues so they don't waste time. I lost 2-3 hours looking for Tilapia (for Fishing) before I figured out it was a bug, and spent 2 whole days working on the Gardening Guide.
Thanks for reading!
Carl
