CAS Age Staggering

Who else hates it? UGH!

If I create a young adult in CAS, then I want to play them for their whole young adulthood. Not half of it or less as the age staggering in CAS goes sometimes! Does anyone know how to turn the CAS age staggering OFF? I know I can just turn aging off. But I don't want to have to do that for this couple that I created in CAS, only to find out they both have only half their young adulthood, left to them!

I have McCommand Center, if there's anything there that will nix the CAS age staggering that I haven't been able to find yet?

Any advice, or even if you just want to share the "I hate CAS age staggering!" pain along with me comments, are welcome!
  • Nah no problem. I just like helping people with finding bugfix mods that may help until the problem is patched. :)
  • @PlayerSinger2010, well my game is up to date with patches and I even did a repair on it, recently...

Does anybody know if I can like drag their age bar levels down or something? Any help would be gratefully appreciated!
  • @jswizzle, that quick trick tip, I thiiiiiiiiiiiink I can do it. Never taken a sim into CAS mode before and I'm not sure how to activate fulleditmode in CAS, but I'll give it a try! Regardless of that however, thank you as well, so much, for the way to disable random aging with MC Command Center and a computer!

@LadyKyn, I dont know how to cheat for aspiration points? But you're right, the potion of youth is'nt much really. If I cant get the age up then back down again in CAS that @jswizzle recommended to work right, then I'll just keep them with aging off until I have enough aspiration points for them each to have that potion.

Already tried slipping a "free aspiration rewards for everyone!" free aspiration rewards mod into my mods folder. But it must need updating or something, as alas, it doesn't work.

Thank you both, very much once again!
  • Yeah, it can be a pain. The other thing that annoys me as far as age is concerned is that female sims stop aging whilst pregnant, so if they start as the same age as the father, they'll end up significantly younger if they have more than one child. I wish that could be switched on or off as we please. I'm sure at one point it was disabled in MCCC but it hasn't been for a while, at least for me.

There is a setting in MCCC under the pregnancy menu that will allow aging during pregnancy.

Thanks, I'll look for it. I haven't found it when I've tried.
  • @Madachan88, oh, I see! Sorry for my misunderstanding. But thank you for sharing the link to her patreon!

@Mariefoxprice83, were you able to find the MCCC setting to allow aging during pregnancy? I think I found it just by going through every section/setting of MCCC to see all that was possible, the first time I found it. If you've not found it yet, I'll try to get the walk-through steps together for you to help out?

i haven't looked for it yet as my current household doesn't have an eligible sim as the female sims are in the wrong age bracket at the moment. Thanks though, don't worry unless you have time.
