cas.fulleditmode questions

I only asked because this caused issues in TS3 - does changing the gender and age of a sim in full edit mode bug the sims out in any way, or is this fine to do? How about relationships? I ask because I want to edit a pre-existing family's ties, and also want to be able to control the gender of their children for story purposes.

  • I've not noticed any issues with it. I've changed gender, names, age, relationships...and no problems.

Example: There was a bug that caused single child households to spawn. I grabbed a single (some times 2) randomly generated townie, gave them a big house (built like a parent/child community house for them) and then added the children to that household. I've had different combos of those households, some I've changed to be single parent families, with the kids all being siblings, others not.
  • Age is definitely not a problem. I use this regularly. Traits can bug out a little bit. Can't say anything about the gender.
  • Traits bug regularly (you get buffs from the previous traits too) so it's best to change them via command. Everything else seems all good :)
