I play in rotation and I don't have ANY families in Brindleton Bay. I even have my sims yards fenced in with locks on the gates to keep my dogs from wandering about and STILL they get sick. I don't think Brindleton Bay has anything to do with it. I've stopped playing with dogs or cats in my families because it is just such a hassle.
I should have made it clear but what I suggested is never visit that place. As long as you stay away from Brindleton Bay the inactive families won’t get sick pets.
