Cats and dogs in other worlds

Nope, never noticed any dogs or cats except for in Selvadorada. I really wish I saw pets in any world. And oh, I love it when I see sims walking their dogs in Brindleton Bay. I miss seeing that in other worlds too.

I've found that if I set a particular lot as "Dog friendly" and/or "Cat friendly" I will see cats and dogs in that neighborhood even if that particular lot isn't the one that's loaded. (Either that or as dog/cat hangouts, don't remember which)

I'll sometimes see them if a non-played sim has a pet, but not as often (and I will see the pet)

I only see cats and dogs outside of BB when i add the dogs/cats hangout lot trait. When i do that, there LOTS of cats and dogs walking around the neighbourhood to the point that i have to close the house doors to animals.

I haven't added the cats/dogs hangout lots in this save, so I'm surprised to see them in San Myshuno and Glimmerbrook. Not complaining though ?

I haven't noticed it. I might try what @DaWaterRat did though and set some lots to animal friendly and see if it changes anything.

They work pretty well in my game! It's great to see all the sleepy cats loafing around in the sun in Oasis Springs.

You'll see them in San MyShuno in karaoke bars

That would make sense. My spellcaster traveled to Brindleton Bay to find her cat. At the time, I hadn't seen any outside that world.

I've also noticed that when your sim is a cat/dog lover, stray cats/dogs show off often...
