Cats won't pee outside
I've tried this in different households and in different saves, but everytime I got the same result. After having done the "scold for peeing inside" interaction a couple of times, I got a notification...

The point is you can't train a cat to potty outside. Cats can't go potty outside at all, and it's either a bug or rather poor design by devs.
I doubt it's either. Cats in real life don't get potty trained, they get litter trained, just like in the game.
They clearly put it in the code as you get a pop up saying " (cats name) learned to potty outside" so yes, they can be trained, in the game, just like dogs. It is a known bug that is affecting BOTH cats and dogs.
